First Day of School!

We had a GREAT first day!  Here are some photos of snack time, play time, story time, recess, and our search around the school for Pete the Cat. :)

Welcome to Kindergarten

Welcome to the Kindergarten class blog!  I'm so glad you came to visit!  I will use this blog to keep you informed on upcoming events, class news, and other important information.  There is no need to subscribe to it.  I will email you when I post something new.  

Items your child will need for Kindergarten:

Backpack (big enough to fit a folder, lunchbox, extra shoes in the winter, etc...)
Water Bottle (with a spill-proof top...the kind with a flip-up top and a straw work well)
Lunchbox (if needed)
Gym shoes (to be left at school for Physical Education class) 
One pair of ear buds/headphones in a baggy labeled with name
One folder

Your child does not need his/her own pencil box.  We share crayons, glue sticks, scissors, etc..., but if you could donate the following items to our classroom supply I would greatly appreciate it!

Box of Kleenex
Box of 24 count crayons 
Two glue sticks (Elmer's please) 
Four pack of dark colored dry erase markers

Please bring the school supplies to Kindergarten Orientation on Wednesday, August 23.
