The Cat in the Hat (Mrs. VanBergen) visited our classroom on Wednesday to kick off March is Reading Month! She read Oh, The Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss. She also talked about how books take us places and showed us her suitcase full of things that she will need when the books take her places. Thing One (Mrs. Opple) and Thing Two (Mr. Oly) also stopped by and gave her a globe and a map. She gave us a map too so that we can keep track of all the places we will go this month when we read books.
